Healthcare and technology may seem like two very different things, but they have one thing in common—they both exist to make people’s lives better.
The Health Tech Award recognizes and showcases new health tech innovations and it is an honour to receive the award. This should be reflected in the logotype. The winner receives a trophy and a diploma that will serve as reminders of the achievement for many years to come.
The laurel wreath symbolizes triumph. It also stands for the positive effects that nature has on our health. I chose a dark shade of blue for the name to create a sense of dependability and security. It is readable on medium to light backgrounds and at a smaller size or from a distance, which is important for the diploma and social media.
Naturally, the leaves of the wreath should be green but orange stands out well and creates a sense of warmth. It’s also a creative color which goes well with the cornerstone of this award—innovation.
